Client of the Month: Meet Dianna

Meet Dianna and learn more about her experience with Reed’s W&FT and her transformation experience. But, make sure you read the entire article. She has a very important Public Service Announcement (PSA) that I believe all should be aware of. This woman is an extremely hard-worker, motivating, and is a true inspiration. Check it out for yourself.

Where are you originally from?

Born in Covington, grew up in Edgewood and have been in Taylor Mill, KY for 33 years….I really get around! Mother of 3 and Grandma of 4.

This is Dianna on the left after killing one of her small group training sessions. She is an extremely hard worker, logs her meals via MyFitnessPal, and takes part in 1-on-1 personal training 2x per week and attends Small Group Training on the weekends. 🙂

What do you like to do during your free time?

Spend time with family and friends…..I guess the correct answer is work out.  I enjoy going to the Bengals games, watching UK basketball and playing softball.

How long have you been a client of Reed’s W&FT?

5 months

What was your fitness regimen prior to Reed’s W&FT and what made you choose/switch to Reed’s W&FT?

Although I have always been active in the last few years I did not have ANY organized regimen and it showed!

While visiting my daughter and her family in Florida we were discussing how pleased she was working out with her trainer ( it had been a few weeks).  I decided to search my zip code and that is how I connected with Joshua.

What do you like best about Reed’s W&FT?

The ability to have home training….otherwise I would talk myself out of 6 am sessions

What is your favorite cheat meal?

Not really a meal…but cheat beverage; Wine!

Dianna completed a 5K recently on 09/27/2015 with her friend Brenda. She is already preparing for another one. 🙂

What is your advice for other members?

You are never to old to start or begin again!

Tell us your story: What made you decide to obtain a personal trainer?

When I discovered that it was more affordable than I ever imagined AND I actually get in 3 sessions per week, something I had not done since being active in a boxing gym 1998-2003

Feel free to add anything else here:

This is my PSA- January of 2014 I had my first colonoscopy and an orange sized tumor was detected. In February I had part of the colon resected, March I had my port-a-cath installed, and April through December I had 12 rounds of chemo. All is well and my health is better than it has been in a long time. During that year I regained 30 pounds and thanks to training it is gone, but I have more to go! Do Not Skip any Health Screenings!! The little discomfort you may deal with is a lot less than the consequences……end of PSA 🙂
