Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes

I found this delicious meal as part of a fellow bloggers post regarding her Thanksgiving dinner. Anne is a Registered Dietician and you can find her recipes, workouts, health and wellness tips and so forth on her website at fANNEtastic food. My wife and I used a recipe from a website Anne provided, added her touches of pomegranates, while adding our own touch of rosemary instead of thyme. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed creating and devouring this meal! 🙂

You can find the original recipe at and I will provide it below with modifications. With that, I would like to thank both Anne and SpoonForkBacon for providing us with this amazing dinner.

I hope you have time to try this meal.

EDIT: As we did not significantly change the recipe and out of respect, please visit the original recipe posted here.

This was my first time using my Nikon D5100 for food photography. I interchanged lens (55-200mm & 50mm 1.8G) to find what I liked best.

Have you tried food photography? What tips would you provide to a beginner?
